Cauliflower Tomato spicy recipe

cauliflower tomato curry


Ingredients











cauliflower flakes1 cup
tomato3
onion1
green chillies4
ginger garlic paste1 spoon
turmeric1/4 spoon
saltto taste
red chilli powder1 spoon
cloves3
elachi2
cinnamon 1 inch piece
coriander seeds1/2 spoon
poppy seeds1 spoon
cashew nut5
coriander leavesfew

Preparation





Cut cauliflower florates from the cauliflower.If florates are big size then cut into small size or your require size.
Pour 1 glass of water in a vessel and heat in high flame.When water is boiling add salt and cauliflower florates and boil for 2 to 3  minutes.Next drain the water.keep cauliflower florates aside.
Wash tomatoes ,onion and green chillies with the water.
Cut the tomatoes into small pieces or cut into 4 big pieces and add them in a mixie jar and make a paste.
cut the  onion and green chillies into small pieces.
wash coriander leaves and cut into small pieces and keep them aside.
Add cloves,elachi,cinnamon and coriander seeds in a  mixie jar and  make a fine power .Then add poppy seeds and cashew nuts and grind them to make a  power.Add 5 spoons of water and make a fine masala paste.
Prepare ginger garlic paste also.


Method


1.Put a thin kadai on the stove.After Kadai is heated add oil.
2.When oil is heated add onion and green chilli pieces.fry for 3 minutes.
3.When onions are turn into light golden colour add ginger garlic paste and fry for 1  minutes.
4.Then add tomato pieces or tomato paste.
5.Cook for 10 minutes in low or medium flame.
6.Add turmeric,salt and red chilli power and mix all very well.
7.And add cauliflower florates and garam masala paste and stir well.  
8.Cook for another 5 to 10 minutes.
9.Taste the curry if salt and spiciness is enough or not.
10.If you want more salt and spiciness add more salt and red chilli powder.
11.when tomatoes and cauliflower are become tender add coriander leaves and put off the flame.
12.Serve this hot with rice or roti...


Keep  in the mind


When we are preparing any cauliflower recipe we should observe cauliflower before cutting it.Some cauliflowers have worms (under the florates).So do not forget to add the florates in hot and salt water before preparing the recipe.
Making tomato paste is better than cutting tomato pieces for this recipe because tomato paste can increases the  thickness of the curry.That gives fine gravey.
Add coriander leaves before put off the flame to get complete nutrient values.
